Guma vallay water company has embarked on a project that will see every household in Freetown have a water meter over the next five years
Guma valley water company is expected to install about 56,000 water meters By 2027, wherein every household in Freetown Western urban is expected to have a water meter at their home.
This is part of the company’s plan to ensure every household have access to water by 2028.
On Tuesday 13th September at the YWCA Institute Dining Hall, Brookfields, the Deputy Managing Director of the Guma Valley Water Company (GVWC), and the Project Coordinator of the Freetown WASH and Aquatic Environment, Francis Hinga Lahai presented a start-up plumbing tool kits to 20 Small and Medium Enterprises, that recently graduated after a 20-day training in plumbing skills and the formulation of SMEs.
