The Guma Valley Water Company has today, 19 April 2023 issued a public notice informing the residents of Freetown that the previously announced shutdown of water supply has been postponed.
The water supply was initially scheduled to be shut off on Thursday, 20th April 2023. However, it has now been rescheduled to Monday, 24th April 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In a statement issued by the company, they stated that they regret any inconvenience the postponement may cause, but it was necessary to ensure that the required maintenance work is carried out successfully.
The company also expressed gratitude to the public for their understanding.

The Guma Valley Water Company is responsible for providing clean water to the people of Freetown. The company regularly carries out maintenance work to ensure that the water supply is safe and reliable.
