Dr. Ahmed Al-Hassan, a participant in this year’s Mandela Washington Fellowship, secured victory in the Venture School Pitch Competition held at the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center, University of Iowa.

His outstanding idea on “Promoting Access to Oral Health Services in Salone” triumphed over those of 24 other entrepreneurs representing 20 countries across Africa, earning him the top prize.
