Heavy downpour on Friday July 14 has caused disruption to traffic at Regent Village outside Freetown.
Photos circulating on social media showed the major route to Grafton and Freetown flooded with debris from the hilly community.
There has been not report of casualties from authorities but heavy downpour caused one of d Sierra Leone’s most deadly natural disasters when over 1,000 dead after a mountain caved into a residential community at Matormeh in Regent.
July is one of the wettest months in Sierra Leone.
The country’s Meteorological Agency warned that there could be flooding possibilities due to rain in this year’s wet season.
