The High Court of Sierra Leone is set to preside over the alleged murder of Sia Fatu Kamara.

According to the report from the court room, the matter has been scheduled for for September 18th 2024, at 10:00 am.

The matter was first presided by Magistrate Santigie Bangura of the Magistrate Court and was later transfer to the High Court to expedite justice.

The High Court had it first session on September 6th and was presided over by Justice Momoh Jah Stevens wherein the State Prosecutor, Yusuf Sesay presented the case, after which the judge formally acknowledge Abdul Kpaka’s status from ‘Respondent” to “Accused” based on the submission from the prosecution.

Sia was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend Abdul Kpaka on August 13th 2024 in Freetown.
