Facebook has been hit lately following the controversies between the CEO of Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment (KME) Kabaka and former label act I-Tribe. Over wilds allegations levied on him, Kabaka has reacted saying “I-Tribe you completely shocked me.”

This controversies came in few hours to the ECOFEST show after the singer declined his performance in the aforementioned festival.  This he posted in the eleventh hour that even though his face has been seen on all the ECOFEST billboards, he will not be performing and also discouraging his fans from attending the show.

I-Tribe took to his Facebook live addressing fans and Sierra Leoneans and disclosed the reasons to his decision for distancing himself from the show at the eleventh hour. On his live, he alleged Kabaka to have owed him money over the years for unsatisfied contract they had. He continued that he had reached Kabaka on countless occasions for the said show but he was ignored and later attended to at the eleventh hour of the show with 50% of the sum agreed.

Responding to the allegations, Kabaka expressed how shocked he was to have heard the wild allegations from Kabaka. “The only thing and song I knew you for is the Akuna Matata with Kao Denero” Kabaka clapped back at I-Tribe. He continued that his relationship with I-Tribe started way back that time. He commended for his performance and doing his solo vibes well.

Expressing the love he has for the act, Kabaka drew an instance event he took I-Tribe to Ghana with other KME acts freely out of love. He continued that on their returned home he told I-Tribe he was not in place to sign more acts to the label but with influence I-Tribe’s name was signed into the label with the help from Africell.

Bragging for who he is to his label acts, Kabaka disclosed that he is the only Sierra Leonean that goes to 50 – 50 percent agreement with artiste on their earnings after a successful deal. He added that this was how their relationship with I-Tribe started and he was good with the agreement of 50% share each.

Vexing his anger I-Tribe, Kabaka mentioned that I-Tribe only owned 50% of all the monies he alleged to have not been paid which Kabaka added all those deals were done and settled.

“To this EcoFest performance, I-Tribe told me his price of Nle15,000 (Le15,000,000 old currency) and didn’t negotiate with him…” Kabaka unveiled the hidden truth and continued that he had to call I-Tribe for 50% of the agreed sum and paid to the act who he later discovered to have made a post earlier that day distancing himself and encouraging fans of his from attending the show.

Kabaka who had paid the money and expected the act for the show was shocked to have seen his tweet tweeted around 8 o’clock, despite all this, he went on to collect the part payment of the show and didn’t attend.

When he called the act, Kabaka alleged that I-Tribe claimed not to return the 50% payment and that he will use to money for his image used on the show and to settle their past undone transactions.

On I-Tribe’s allegations of Kabaka refusing to recommend him as KME and ECOFEST act, Kabaka read a letter which he claimed to have come from the management team of ECOFEST recommending the act at the UK embassy. With this letter in I-Tribe’s name, the act was given the Visa to perform at the Commonwealth summit this year.

Moving beyond just being the CEO of KME to the act, Kabaka alleged he has helped I-Tribe on gaining endorsements with Orange Sierra Leone, contract deal with Sho Cole, CEO of Cribs International etc. He concluded that he didn’t expect I-Tribe to have distance himself following suit to Falz who distanced himself from the show a day before the event. This Kabaka saw to have been a plot of scandal to his reputation built over the years.
