The Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh, held a meeting with a cross-section of executive members of the APC Young Congress.

The meeting centered around fostering genuine collaboration for national development. Minister Sannoh emphasized that the Ministry of Youth Affairs does not belong to any political party, but to every young person across Sierra Leone.

He encouraged the APC Young Congress to consistently invite the Ministry to their programs, assuring them of full participation and support. “This Ministry belongs to the youth of Sierra Leone,” he stated, “and every political party’s youth wing deserves to have a seat at the table.”

The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to inclusivity, pledging to engage all political youth wings in national youth programs and development initiatives spearheaded by the Ministry.

Responding on behalf of the APC Young Congress, President Ansu Bernard expressed deep appreciation for the Minister’s gesture.

He described it as a much-needed call for unity and assured that the message would be conveyed to the wider party leadership.

In his remarks, he added, ‘’Let this not just be a meeting, but the beginning of something real and impactful. When the heart is sincere, and the mind is honest, only then can development reach all of us as young people.”

‘’This meeting signals a new era of youth leadership in Sierra Leone, one built on dialogue, sincerity, and national purpose. It is a powerful reminder that, regardless of political differences, the future belongs to the youth, and only through unity and collaboration can we truly build a better Sierra Leone.’’  Minister Sannoh stated.
