The Minister of Youth Affairs Ibrahim Sannoh visited Connaught Hospital on Saturday, June 21, 2025, where he accompanied a group of youths in urgent need of medical care.
The visit notably reflects the Minister’s hands-on approach to addressing the challenges faced by Sierra Leone’s youth.
During his visit, Minister Sannoh ensured that the young patients received immediate medical attention, reflecting his dedication to their welfare.
He also took the opportunity to check on the progress of those he had previously visited, many of whom are now showing positive signs of recovery.
In a brief statement at the hospital, Minister Sannoh emphasized the importance of supporting youth in their times of need. “As Minister for the Youth, it is my responsibility to stand by them in their time of need, ensure they are cared for, and work towards a better future for all Sierra Leonean youth,” he said.
Hospital staff expressed gratitude for the Minister’s proactive engagement, asserting that such leadership is crucial for improving health outcomes for vulnerable communities.
