The Sierra Leone Immigration Department (SLID) has announced an increase in fees for their core services, effective January 1st, 2025.
This decision follows extensive comparative studies within the sub-region and approval by the Cabinet.
The affected services include passport application forms, emergency travel certificates, seaman passports, and resident permits. These fees have reportedly remained unchanged for over a decade.
The Immigration Department emphasizes that the fee increase applies to all categories of passport applications and resident permits. They urge the public to cooperate with this change.

Leh we clap for orl de politicians back next election ya… that is why they always used us,they do not love this country, and they forget that the people made up the country and wanna see us not.. they’re even debating in parliament about legalizing abortion… initially, the politicians rule out” killing” and now the criminal and lawlessness rate has increased,those who are to face death ☠️ penalty are still been kept there.. And now they wanted to legalize abortion (killing the unborn babies that have committed no sin to God, human and even there mother and father) they committed no criminal offence to you, to me, and to any body, they wanna kill them from entering into this world,in the name of reducing high birthrates according to them…may God help and bless us all in Jesus name amen… let’s all pray 🙏 for good leader for our nation…
