The Ministry of Information’s strategic communication unit has denounced the remarks of an individual who was captured on a live video wielding a firearm and issuing threats of violence against supporters of the main opposition party, the All Peoples Congress (APC0.
In a tweet, the unit expressed their disappointment with the statements made by the individual while holding a weapon, which has been brought to their attention. They strongly condemn any type of violence, and their dedication to promoting the principles of national progress and democracy remains unshakeable.
This comes after a man identifying himself as Foday Bomba has recently surfaced in a video on social media, where he displayed a weapon and threatened to use it against the opposition party, All People’s Congress (APC), during the upcoming 24 June general elections.
Of course this is a common action of the PAOPA government members.
In Bo for example, a senior member of the PAOPA government in a party also threatened to slaughter all those who oppose President Bio.
In Kenema,a woman was beaten up for putting up Dr. Samura Kamara’s poster near her house.
These are all signs of undemocratic, uncivilized and brutal tendencies in members of the PAOPA government members.
We are pleading to the genuine and true members of one time great SLPP members to warn those PAOPA Supporters to desist from such actions. Their actions might bring revenge or retaliation which is not good for this nation. This is a PAOPA government and not a true SLPP party government.

What is most disheartening is to hear people I thought should know better,, support violence and the tearing apart of our nation. Personally, I see President Bio as our president because he is: however, I am troubled by his silence on important issues such as this one; the August 10-14 protests; the Pademba Road prison massacres and the free fall of the value of the Leone. The PPP August protests and the resulting deaths of innocent lives could have been prevented had the president addressed the concerns raises through a TV or radio message to the nation. ” Silence is not golden” when you are the leader of a troubled society like Sierra Leone
