Magistrate Isata Susan Sellu-Tucker of Pademba Road Magistrate’s Court No.2 has today sentenced two accused persons-Mabinty Kamara, a 23-year-old Fishmonger of No. 9 Kamasondo, Lungi, Port Loko District and Abu Bakarr Mohamed Dumbuya, 48-year-old teacher of No. 12 Airport Ferry Road in Lungi to twenty one months imprisonment and pay a fine of Three Thousand Leones New Money (Le. 3,000) each.
The convicts, Mabinty Kamara and Abu Bakarr Mohamed Dumbuya were before the Court to answer to two Counts; Disorderly Behaviour contrary to Section 3(1) of the Public Order Act No. 46 of 1965 and Riotous Conduct contrary to Section 12(a) of the Public Order Act 1965 as repealed and replaced by Act No. 5 of 1973.
The particulars of offence revealed that accused persons on Wednesday 10th August 2022 at Lungi, Kafu Bullom Chiefdom in Port Loko Judicial District in the North-West Region of the Republic of Sierra Leone, did behave in a disorderly manner.
Delivering her Judgment, Magistrate Isata Susan Sellu-Tucker sentenced them to three Months on Count one and eighteen Months on Count Two.
