She has committed to advocating for women’s empowerment in the informal economy, which was discussed at a key stakeholders’ meeting organized by the Informal Workers Organization (IWO).
She emphasized the importance of women’s participation and the creation of decent work opportunities for women in the country.
The Ministry of Gender has collaborated with UNICEF to enhance child rights reporting. The three-day workshop focused on the state party report and children’s rights, with the aim of addressing past gaps and empowering stakeholders.
