In a bid to strengthen bilateral relations, Sierra Leone’s Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has arrived in Guinea-Bissau for a two-day working visit.
The visit is set to enhance diplomatic, cultural, and technical cooperation between the two nations.
Vice President Jalloh commenced his visit with a high-profile meeting with Guinea-Bissau’s President Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco Embaló. The discussions centered on fostering collaboration in areas such as cultural exchanges, security cooperation, and diplomacy training.
During a working lunch with Prime Minister Rui Duarte Barros, Jalloh reiterated Sierra Leone’s commitment to deepening ties with Guinea-Bissau. “We are here to build stronger bridges between our countries,” said the Vice President, emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation in achieving shared goals.
Addressing the media, Jalloh expressed gratitude to President Embaló and the people of Guinea-Bissau for their warm reception. “It’s a great pleasure to be back in a city that holds many fond memories,” he said.
