“I am not only pleased but also emotional,” Totangi said. “The work we started six years ago has transformed NaCCED into a household name, and I am confident it will continue to grow under the capable leadership of Mr. Bindi.”

Incoming chairman Joseph Munda Bindi, in his address, expressed gratitude to President Julius Maada Bio for the opportunity to serve. He praised the foundation laid by his predecessor and emphasized the critical role civic education plays in Sierra Leone’s growth and stability.

“Civic education is the answer to our country’s development,” Bindi stated. “It is essential for the success of the big five game changers, and I am honored to lead NaCCED in this mission.”

Bindi committed to advancing NaCCED’s initiatives to foster national awareness and engagement, which are crucial to addressing societal challenges and driving progress.
