Justice Patricia Ebunolorun Macaulay, the trailblazing pioneer who made history as the first woman appointed to the esteemed position of Justice on the Supreme Court of Sierra Leone, has sadly passed away.

The family announced her demise on April 5th, 2024, through a heartfelt obituary notice.

In honor of her remarkable contributions and legacy, a funeral and communion service will be conducted on Monday, April 15th, 2024, at The Church of Holy Trinity located at Kissy Road, Freetown.

Justice Macaulay’s indelible mark on the legal landscape of Sierra Leone will be remembered and cherished by many.
