EcoFest is an annual music festival that was setup by Sierra Leonean entertainment Guru, Kabaka of KME alongside Ghanaian TV Personality, Bola Ray of Empire.
The maiden edition of EcoFest was held in November 2018 in Sierra Leonne which hosted artists from Seven African countries.
In November 30th 2019, the third edition, which was themed “The Evolution”, was held at the Sierra Leone National Stadium with appearance from: Slimcase (Nigeria), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Sophia (the Gambia), Tay Grin (Malawi) and Jose Chameleone (Uganda).
The team was joined on stage with top Sierra Leonean hitmakers like Innocent, K Man, Famous, King Boss LAJ, Empress Pee, Arkman, Kindo Armani, Richie Obama, Desmond Benya, Yemata, KME All Stars and Star Zee as well as Ghanaians Kuami Eugene and Kidi.
The jampacked show was hosted by Nigerian Top comedian, Basket Mouth and Sierra Leonean TV Personality, Phebean Swill.
2020 EcoFest that was themed “The Takeover” was postponed due to Covid-19. The show was supposed to take place in November 28th 2020 at the National Stadium in Sierra Leone. Kabaka made the disappointing news of the postpone date on his Facebook Page on 1st February 2020. Thirteen African countries were expected to grace the event.
On a Facebook live video, the young CEO from Sierra Leone, Kabaka assured the fans and the people of Sierra Leone that this year there will be EcoFest.
