Esther Yeanoh Kamara, a model and brand influencer, has rejected the allegations made by Lake Production regarding the misuse of funds during the 2024 Miss Freetown event.

The accusations were outlined in a press release issued by Musa A. Kamara, the COO of Lake Group of Companies, on March 7, 2025.

Kamara responded to the allegations, stating, “I categorically state that the allegations against me are baseless, false, and unfounded.” She added that if Lake Production believes she misused their funds, the proper channels should have been used to recover them. “I will not let this matter escalate further,” Kamara said.

She also shared that she has consulted with her legal team and has all the necessary evidence to prove her innocence. “SLE 52,888 is a significant amount, but I will not compromise my hard-earned reputation for it. I have a family name and a brand to protect,” Kamara noted.

The press release from Lake Production warned of legal action if Kamara did not refund the specified amount within 48 hours, with the possibility of intervention by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

However, Kamara remains confident in her ability to clear her name through the appropriate legal channels. “I am calm and optimistic about proving my innocence,” she stated.
