Sierra Leone ADP 2018 Presidential candidate, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray has met his bail conditions, Sierraloaded has learnt.
However the highly rated and noble Master and Registrar, Elaine Thomas-Archibald indicated that she needs a Police Report for the Arson and Fire incident of Kamarainba’s house in Makeni in 2018.
It can be recalled, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray and Marion Harouni were granted bail by the Honorable Justice Samuel O. Taylor on Tuesday 7th September, 2021.
The Bail Conditions for Kamarainba were as follows:
1. Bail granted in the sum of 100 Million Leones and two Sureties in like sum.
2. One Surety must be a house owner with property situated in the Western area of the Republic of Sierra Leone and should produce an original Title Deed to the Master and Registrar
3. Sureties should produce proof of Residence, ID Cards, Passport pictures, and the Accused person should deposit same to the Master and Registrar.
4. He must report three times in a week to the Master and Registrar and sign the Attendance book reserved for this purpose.
5. He must deposit to the Master and Registrar all travelling documents both foreign and national.
Meanwhile, the crime officer of the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) attached to the Palap Police Station in Makeni stated that he wouldn’t release the Police Report unless a Lawyer write the Inspector General of the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) and copy Eight more senior Police Officers before he can release the report.
The drama continues as we await for the Sierra Leone Police-Report today, Tuesday 14th September, 2021 to enable Kamarainba freedom from Prison.
A report from a senior Sierra Leone Correctional Services officer indicated that Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray health continues to deteriorate in Prison. The officer further stated that they don’t want to be blamed if Kamarainba dies in Prison, especially after the Judge had granted him bail.
