Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment; Amara Dennis Turay popularly known as Kao Denero has released his one-year progress report.
As he was appointed on 12th March 2021 by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio, Kao Denero highlighted few things he has achieved as he clocked one-year in his office. In his report, he mentioned about the entertainment board, office space, national playlist, MTV Base and Dubai Expo 2020.

AMBASSADOR KAO DENERO CLOCKS ONE YEAR IN OFFICE PROGRESS REPORT
A dynamic and hardworking Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment ever in the history of Sierra Leone, Ambassador Amara Turay Jalloh aka Kao Denero.
Since he was appointed as the Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment by the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio on the 12th March 2021, Kao Denero has been working tirelessly to make sure that the needful is done. His effort to bring honour home has made him a distinguished personality among others. Immediately he took over office as a Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment, Kao Denero set up an entertainment board with representatives of every area of entertainment including but not limited to comedy, music, and film. The board members meet often to discuss and make decisions.
As a Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment, his endeavours led to the creation of office space for his said position at 58 Bathurst Street – open to everyone within working hours from Monday to Friday. This office will help solve entertainment issues.
He has succeeded in introducing the National Playlist System. Since its introduction in 2021, it has made progress. Through the National Playlist System, the Office of Special Envoy and Ambassador of Entertainment and Investment received an official video contract from Viacom(MTV base) for five(5) Sierra Leonean acts. Ambassador Kao Denero instructed the board Secretary to get in touch with the following artists and their management: Natasha Beckley, CJoe, Marvin Bangs, Drama King and Fred.
Ambassador Kao Denero, through the government of Sierra Leone successfully participated in Dubai Expo 2020 with many Sierra Leonean acts, namely, Ambassador Kao Denero, Amie Kallon, Star Zee, Famous, Markmuday, Alonzo, Rap Gee and others.
