Sierra Leone’s hip-hop legend and Black Leo frontman, Kao Denero, has reacted strongly following the court’s decision to deny bail to two of his loyal supporters, Medenero and Amadu.
The duo, associated with the Black Leo movement, were remanded in prison on June 3rd, 2025 after a violent incident linked to the ongoing Famous and Kao Denero case.
The court hearing, which drew intense public interest, ended with the judge ordering both men to remain in custody until the next hearing scheduled for June 11, 2025. Blackleo Supporters expressed outrage, calling the ruling unfair and politically motivated.
In response, Kao Denero took to social media to encourage his followers to remain resilient, stating, “Blackleo, let’s stand firm. The fight is on. Light over darkness.” His words have sparked a wave of support from fans and fellow artists across the country.
