Sierra Leone Entertainment Ambassador, Amara Dennis Turay popularly known as Kao Denero has revealed the date for ‘Back to My Root’ festival.
The festival which the Office of The Entertainment and Investment Ambassador collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism is scheduled to take place on Saturday 7th May, 2022 at Tokeh Beach.
Full details have not been released but according to an update of Ambassador Kao Denero on 24th November, 2021 on his Facebook post, he stated that the festival will last for three days and guest act for this year’s festival will be a United States R&B singer. Ambassador Kao Denero added that, the platform will give opportunity to filmmakers to showcase their projects and also upcoming musicians.
Sierraloaded captured rumours that, the guest act will be United States R&B singer and songwriter, Keri Hilson and the show will be hosted by American radio host, TV personality and author, Lenard Larry McKelvey professionally known as Charlamagne tha God.
