Entertainment Ambassador, Amara Denis Turay-Jalloh “Kao Denero” has shared his concern following the latest development in the legal case involving rapper Medlenero, who has been sent back to Pademba Road Prison for the second time, though some, including Kao Denero, have described it as a third detention following repeated bail grants.

He pointed to the repeated pattern where bail is granted and then followed by detention, even though no bail conditions appear to have been broken. He questioned why this continues to happen, especially when there’s no sign that the bail terms have been violated.

The case began earlier this year after a dispute between Medlenero and fellow artist Famous led to legal action. During the first bail hearing in early May, Medlenero was released under strict conditions. These included a travel ban, regular check-ins with the authorities, and no public statements related to the matter.

He was detained again weeks later, but bail was granted a second time in mid-June. According to reports, this bail included a new condition requiring Medlenero to record a public apology video. In the video, he is expected to address Famous directly, admit wrongdoing, express regret, and take responsibility. He is also required to cover specific costs related to the case and follow all remaining legal terms.

Despite these conditions, Medlenero has now been remanded once again. There has been no official explanation provided about what terms, if any, were violated.

“You granted bail Then you detain
“You then grant another bail then you detain again
“You grant bail once again for the third time and detain again with the people not breaking any bail conditions.
“What point are you really trying to prove sir?” Kao Denero asked.

Kao Denero’s reaction reflects that some people in the music industry are worried about how the case is being handled. There are questions about why bail keeps being granted and then followed by detention, especially when it’s unclear if any bail conditions have actually been broken.

The case remains ongoing, and further developments are expected in the coming weeks.
