Sierra Leonean – United States based fashion designer, Tommy Bangura popularly known as King Tommy has on the just concluded AWOL awards bagged designer of the year.

King Tommy is known to may Sierra Leoneans as the father of pieces. The celebrity who surfaced to many as aspirant in the just concluded Housemate Salone season 3 reality TV show. The celebrity was the centre and key threat to many aspirants until he was unable to join the show due to other reasons.

King Tommy being the hyper of the show to the outside world among other social media platforms was later made  AYV brand ambassador 2022. This he took to his page and expressed his appreciations to the management and organizers of the show.

Ever since, King Tommy has always been seen stunning in photos and videos of different fashion styles in the 21st century. Sometimes, he brings fashion designs that perplex other designers thinking he is from another planet, possible Jupiter.

As fashion design inside his DNA, King Tommy is recognized and known for his act as one of Sierra Leone’s International designers. In the just concluded All Works of Life (AWOL) 2022 awards, King Tommy was named AWOL’s designer of the year.

The AWOL Awards (All Works of Life Awards) is an annual event rewarding the contribution of a diverse group of Sierra Leoneans to the development of their country.

According to a statement by the organisers, “The first Annual Achievement Award event was hosted by the organisation at the prestigious Lighthouse Complex Camberwell in London in June 2011 with up to sixteen awards presented to deserving individuals. ”
