Kontri Boss, Kass and others have been released on bail by the Police following an investigation on the alleged death of Arata, a popular supporter of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) who died mysteriously on the street of Freetown.
Edward Wright with a music name of Kontri Boss and Soloman Kass-Marrah, popularly call as Kass of LXG group have been both been granted bail pending investigations.
They were both detained on Sunday for the alleged death of Alouysh Deen Tarawally popularly known as Arata.
A statement from the Survival Record where Kontri boss represents confirmed the release of the two artists and how the matter has been handled by their legal team.
They also pleaded in the statement for the public to refrain from spreading rumors that will depict the situation in a wrong way.
“We kindly request the public to refrain from passing judgment or making comments regarding this matter, as the investigation is still in progress,” they pleaded.
They also made clear to the public that Kass is not a signed artist to their label but working collaboratively with their label.
“Kass (Soloman Kass-Marrah), while not directly signed with Survival Records, is an artist we work closely with, and their respective representatives, including their families, attorneys, labels, and management, have been notified,” they said.
They also send appreciation to the well-wishers who have been with them in those trying times fighting for the freedom of their artists and partners.
“At Survival Records, we consider ourselves a family, and our concerns extend to the safety and well-being of all our artists, partners, and those we collaborate with. We sincerely appreciate all those who have expressed their concerns and support. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our legal team for their dedication and efforts,” they said.
