Former President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma expressed appreciation, to President Julius Maada Bio for sending him warm birthday wishes on his birthday on Monday 2nd October 2023.
Sierraloaded report how President Julius Maada Bio, for the first time since rejoiced with former President Ernest Bai Koroma as he marked his 70th birthday on Monday, October 2, 2023.
In a heartfelt message, President Bio conveyed, “On behalf of my family, the Government, and the good people of Sierra Leone, I extend warm wishes.”
He further acknowledged the occasion by adding, “I join family, friends, and well-wishers in commemorating this special milestone for the Former President, His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma.”
Replying to Bio’s message, Former President Koroma wrote; “On my behalf and that of my family, thank you and your family for joining in sending a goodwill message on my birthday”.
Such gestures underline the unity and camaraderie that exist among the nation’s leadership, irrespective of their political tenure or affiliations.
The good gesture from Mr Bio to EBK is a great development to forstering peace and unity. Here is my take on this post, I believe Bio has gotten late to give such respect to EBK, now that Bio is in hot water with the majority both home and the International community,he is looking for friendship when few years ago ,Bio said,he is not and will never be EBK’s friend.

Let bygone be bygone, we are all Sierra Leoneans, BIO and EBK are brothers, What is the hatred for, As for me am happy for the exchange of loving words to each, I pray this be a lesson to the other big guns.

If from the beginning you show this love and respect to EBK before by now everybody should have rejoice with you but you allowed political prostitute to use you, but we pray God to bring back your five senses so we the common man can live in peace. God bless you all meaningful politicians.

Hay guys, u never mentioned Samura Kamara saying if u want us to continue destroying Sierra Leone, vote this government back, fast forward, nor EBK nor Samura ever congratulated Bio both 2018/2023. What when Samura publicly preached naked trabalism directly targeted at the Mendes hmmmmm oh salone na country
