The Council of Legal Education in Sierra Leone has officially released the tuition fees for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic year at the Sierra Leone Law School.
Prospective students will be required to pay NLe 35,000 for their legal education, which covers the core costs of training and preparation for the Bar exams.
However, this amount does not include expenses for books and other necessary learning materials, which students will need to purchase separately.
Additionally, students will be required to pay a non-refundable orientation fee of NLe 4,000.
This orientation program is designed to familiarize incoming students with the academic expectations and administrative procedures of the Law School, providing them with the guidance needed to navigate the intense legal training and prepare for their future careers as legal practitioners in Sierra Leone.
The announcement has given prospective students ample time to prepare financially for the academic year, ensuring they can meet all the requirements before the start of their studies.
For those who want to become lawyers, please take note. 35,000 fees plus 4,000 orientation= NLE39,000. Minus books and other legal instructions or instruments needed.
No wonder, when they came out many be came the criminals and perversion of justice, to innocent victims.
