The Chief Executive Officer of Malador Company Ltd, Mawan Malodor was arrested on Thursday by Sierra Leonean authorities in Freetown for reasons yet to be disclosed publicly.
Malador was taken into custody by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for questioning. Unnamed sources close to the CID allege the arrest may be connected to a recently discovered container filled with Kush, a dangerous illegal drug, at Water Quay. The drug has been linked to numerous deaths in the country.
Details surrounding the arrest emerged through a live video Malador shared on his social media page. In the video, officers are seen approaching Malador’s vehicle and requesting him to accompany them to the Regional Police Headquarters with his company documents.
Malador is heard inquiring whether it’s an invitation or an arrest warrant. He expresses his intention to consult with his lawyers if it’s an invitation. The officers withhold a response and insist on his cooperation.
The video shows at least five police officers surrounding Malador . One officer is heard informing Malador of his arrest under orders from the Inspector General of Police. The officers then cut off the live video.
The arrest comes shortly after Malador launched a zero-interest loan program in Freetown, offering financial assistance to Sierra Leoneans.

The malador in the photo is the CEO of Malador filling Station and he has not been arrested.
This not true
For clarity, the Malador company is completely different from Malador associates, whose sole business is petroleum. Nothing more, nothing else. The Malador, who is purported to have arrested, is the Malador dealing with overseas, lottery, loans businesses, etc.
Kindly verify the Malador before posting, this is a repetitional damages you have created to Malador Dealing in petroleum products.

You have cause emotional damage to our CEO and trying to bring down the reputation of the company. Go back and tell the public that the arrest is not the CEO of Malador and Associates SL Ltd.

Pls remove the photo of Alieu Malador from this story because it has nothing to do with him as he deals in petroleum products under Malador Associates and not Malador Company Ltd. I also advise that you cross check your stories before going to press because there’s a tendency for you to create unnecessary problems for not just the reputation of good citizens in this country, but also you’re bound to invite unavoidable legal actions against Sierraloaded.sl
You already have the photo of Mr Marwan Malador which you had publish but went ahead to use Alieu Malador’s photo as well when he has absolutely nothing to do with your story. Plz do the needful without further delay.
