The Deputy Minister 2 of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Madam Mamusu Massaquoi, has officially presented a brand new bus to the Koidu School for the blind. This presentation was followed by the promised made by His Excellency Dr Julius Maada Bio, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Kono as his government would provide a means of transportation for the people with disabilities in that part of the country.
Few weeks ago, the Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary education Dr David Sengeh also presented the first phase to the Makeni school for the blind in Bombali District, and in Tonkolili as well.
This is what we called the Human Capital Development, in which every part or region of this must benefits from. The Team of Basic and Senior Secondary education Ministry is a champion in delivery of our flagship program, the Free and Quality Education in which all government and government assisted schools are benefiting from, with more than 5000 teachers recruited.
This was how the bus was presented by our results oriented Deputy Minister 2 of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Madam Mamusu Massaquoi with her team of staff of MBSSE presented the bus to the Koidu School for the blind, with a joyful celebrations by the beneficiaries in Kono today.
