The Minister of Basic And Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) Conrad Sackey has revealed that, his ministry has collaborated with the minister of the communications and innovations, Salima Bah on new policy development issues and other goals.
He maintained that, he was delighted to meet with minister Bah on the plans to deepen the working relationship between the two ministries and to establish common grounds to strengthen the delivery of public services in the country.
“Minister Bah and I had wide-ranging discussions on the ICT needs and requirements of the Ministry; expansion of the UNICEF Giga project from its current 42 school pilot to 400 more schools; new policy development issues relating to MBSSE’s digital learning strategy and policy, and the digital ID policy for learners; transfer of the Education Data Hub and the Huawei Agreement which provides digital training opportunities for teachers and learners” he stated.
He furthered that, they reached at a developmental exchange to organise an early follow-up meeting to continue the relationship, which has to do with enhancing their pro-activeness in delivering on the President’s Five big game changers as it is part of the first in a series of Inter-Ministerial Collaborative meetings.
