United States based Sierra Leonean rapper; Dennis Bundu popularly known as Menace Da General donated school learning materials to different schools across Sierra Leone.

The hitmaker started his donation few days at Birch Memorial Senior Secondary School and Sylvanus Municipal Senior Secondary School in Makeni, Northwest of Sierra Leone. The exercise books were customized with his name and the national flag colour. He extended his donation at Rural Academy in which hundreds of students benefitted.

According to source, Menace started the Book and Pen Foundation to promote education and give helping hands to the less privileged. After fulfilling his first target, the rapper took to Facebook and post;

“I know and I understand the struggle of the average child in my country. They face so many difficulties and constraints on the daily. Without proper guidance, encouragement, mentoring, and love, a destitute child becomes vulnerable and we lose them.

Children are the future. If we want to see a better Sierra Leone tomorrow, then we must nurture and equip them now with the necessary tools needed to develop.

My meassage was all in the “FORMULA”

Passion & courage. I emphasized that no matter their circumstances they should continue to keep hope alive, stay in school, and pursue their dreams.

it wasn’t so much about the books that i donated, it was more about the message that was fully absorbed.

We’re not here forever so while I have the strength I’ll continue to play my part in creating a positive impact.

Thank you students of Birch memorial Senior Secondary school and entire staff. Thank you students of Sylvanus municipal senior Secondary and staff.
