Magistrate Mark Ngegba of the Pademba Road Court No. 2 has committed two murder matters to High Court for trial.
Sahr Daramy was charged with one count of murder, which is contrary to law. It was alleged that Daramy, a Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) personnel, on Saturday 19th December 2020, at Baw-Waw Village along the Peninsular Road in Freetown, murdered Abu Bakarr. Throughout the preliminary investigations, the accused was not granted bail until the matter was committed to the High Court for trial.
Peter Koroma was also charged with murder, which is contrary to the law of Sierra Leone. The police say the 25-year-old on Wednesday 10th July 2020 at Monkey Bush, Waterloo in Freetown, murdered Mariama Sesay.
