The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Conrad Sackey, has taken over the direct leadership of the Ministry’s Situation Room.

The Minister revealed that, he has decided to take over the situation room in a bid to help him access accurate information and analysis of the concerns coming from the community through the Ministry 4060 Toll Free Line, adding that, getting the concerns directly will help for a proactive action in solving burning issues that do cropp up within different sectors in the field of education.

Minister Sackey disclosed this during an unannounced visit he had together with the Chief Education Officer of the Ministry at the Situation Room.

As the Minister remained focused to the view of quality education for all, he maintained that, having the system being monitored thoroughly can help solve most of the emergencies and have the sector running properly.
