The Ministry of Information and Civic Education has announced the launch of the Civic Champion Awards, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at recognizing and honoring individuals and organizations that have made exceptional contributions to civic responsibility, national unity, and the development of Sierra Leone.

This award celebrates those who demonstrate acts of courage, selflessness, and sustained leadership that strengthen the social fabric of the nation.

It offers an opportunity to shine a spotlight on unsung heroes who dedicate themselves to their communities, colleagues, and the country as a whole.

Nomination Details

The Ministry invites citizens to submit nominations for individuals or organizations that exemplify these values. Nominations can be submitted online athttps://bit.ly/ccanominate

The deadline for submissions is December 5, 2024.

 

Award Ceremony

The winners will be honored at a prestigious ceremony on December 12, 2024, at the Miatta Conference Centre in Freetown.

The event will feature the First Lady, H.E. Madam Fatima Bio, as the Special Grand Chief Host.

The Civic Champion Awards provide a unique platform to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of those shaping the nation’s future. Citizens are encouraged to submit nominations and join in celebrating Sierra Leone’s champions.
