The Ministry of Trade and Industry in the ongoing 2nd Annual Engagement hosted in Bo City the Southern Province of Sierra Leone have received presentations of work plans of different Departments and Agencies.

The retreat is in line with the Ministry’s vision to reflect on the works of the different departments and agencies in the past year as well as make recommendations that may also serve as an opportunity for professional staff within the Ministry to refresh their minds and recalibrate their focus for this year.

The Departments and Agencies within the ministry presented their programs and policies that are in line with the new direction agenda of the Government and work plans for 2023 to the Ministry.

It was noted that the presentation that took place on the 3rd February 2023 was done and received by different directorates ranging from, directorate of Export Promotion and Regional Integration, directorate of Policy, Planning and Research, directorate of Private Sector Entrepreneurial and Industrial Development, directorate of Standards and Compliance, destination Inspection and Sierra Leone Experience and the management of Ministry of Trade and Industry Clarity on Roles and Responsibilities.
