The Government of Sierra Leone, through the Ministry of Youth Affairs, has announced the receipt of an Approval Letter under the Global Goals 2030: Africa Scholarship Programme, referenced GG30/EA958, confirming Sierra Leone’s approval for partially funded scholarships to pursue recognised academic programmes for eligible Sierra Leoneans.

This approval marks a significant milestone in the Government’s commitment to human capital development, digital transformation, and youth empowerment, in line with the National Development Agenda and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The programmes are strategically aligned with Sierra Leone’s priorities in technology, innovation, financial inclusion, governance, and private sector development, and are expected to equip young Sierra Leoneans with globally competitive skills and competencies.

The Government of Sierra Leone, through the Ministry of Youth Affairs, expresses appreciation to the Global Goals 2030 Initiative for recognizing Sierra Leone as a beneficiary country under this prestigious scholarship scheme and looks forward to a successful implementation that will positively impact national development.

Applicants are requested to note that since this is a partial scholarship, the successful candidate will bear the cost of up to 10% of the total cost per program that will be levied by the University, and the Global Goals will pay the remaining 90%

Applicants are required to submit their applications online via [email protected], along with all supporting documents, including a recommendation letter. Motivation letter, WASSCE Result, National ID card or Passport bio page, or any other valid document and transcripts, for interested applicants for the Master’s program.

Deadline for submission of all applications is on Tuesday, 20th January 2026.
