This media house in collaboration with others have started investigations based on documents in their possession and other evidences including voice notes among other things pointing to an alleged massive corruption involving funds for the fertilizers provided by the Chinese Government but were never thought by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security and therefore never distributed to farmers in the country.

Allegations abound that AVDP gave a certain amount of money which should have been used to purchase additional fertilizers but this did not materialize and the amount is yet to be accounted for.

According to The Future Media Newspaper, the Minister of Agriculture when contacted claimed that the Chinese only supplied farm materials but this claim is quite shallow as there is abundant evidence to reveal the contrary.
