Milton Margai Technical University has officially announced the date and details for the upcoming graduation ceremony for the academic years 2021/2022 and 2022/2023. The event is scheduled to take place on December 14, 2024, at the Peace and Love Amphitheatre on the Goderich Campus.
In a recent notice, the university administration informed all graduands that participation in the ceremony, whether in person or in absentia, requires prior registration at the registry of their respective campuses. The convocation charges have been set as follows;
Degree Programmes:
In Person: LE 1,400,000
In Absentia: LE 1,600,000
Diploma and Certificate Programmes (including HTC and HND):
In Person: LE 1,000,000
In Absentia: LE 1,200,000
Payments should be made to the university account number 003001101762250123 at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank. Graduands are advised to submit their pay-in-slips to the finance office of their respective campuses to obtain an official university receipt.
Graduands are also encouraged to verify their details before October 28, 2024. Lists of graduands will be displayed on the university notice boards across the three campuses. It is important to check these lists to ensure that names, ID numbers, and programmes/courses are accurately recorded.
The final date for registration is November 14, 2024. The university looks forward to celebrating the achievements of its students and wishes all participants a successful graduation ceremony.
