The Director General of the National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA), Mohamed Mubashir Massaquoi, has been elected unopposed as the National Secretary General of the Old Bo Boys Association (OBBA).
The election took place during OBBA’s national meeting held at the Bo School campus.
Mr. Massaquoi, widely known as Ngor Mass, was the only candidate for the position and was confirmed without contest by members of the association.
Before this new role, he served as the Deputy National Secretary General of OBBA, where he worked closely with the outgoing Secretary General, Mr. George Dambo. The two collaborated on administrative work and supported efforts to strengthen OBBA’s activities and connections among members.
Mr. Massaquoi is also currently serving as Director General of NCRA. He was appointed to that role in July 2018 by His Excellency Brigadier (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
His election as National Secretary General comes after years of active participation in OBBA, where he has supported various development efforts and events.
As he steps into this new position, members expect him to continue contributing to the goals of OBBA and helping maintain the traditions of the Bo School community.
Mr. Massaquoi’s term begins immediately, and he is expected to work with the rest of the OBBA executive to plan future activities and programs.
