Representatives from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development have participated in a training program on Economic Globalization and Made-in-China which started on June 22nd -July 12th.
The training was organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and hosted at Wuhan Textile University in Wuhan, was attended by officials from 12 developing countries below the director level and was focused on sharing China’s manufacturing industry’s development and innovation experiences, as well as the production management practices of modern intelligent manufacturing enterprises.
It was aimed at some key principles ranging from analysing the international economic and trade situation, interpret the latest trade policies, and enhance the production management capabilities of enterprises in developing countries as it emphasized the importance of establishing an exchange platform between Chinese enterprises and developing countries’ enterprises in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
According to them the platform would promote the development of the manufacturing industry in developing countries and strengthen their capacity building in trade promotion and intelligent manufacturing.
The overall goal was to foster Sino-foreign economic and trade cooperation, support the global manufacturing industry’s common development, and contribute to the economic globalization efforts of developing countries.
The participants were awarded certificates and encouraged to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the training to contribute to the economic development of their respective countries as was communicated by Ministry of Planning & Economic Development.
