A total of 73 new mpox cases have been confirmed today, Wednesday, June 4th 2025, bringing the total cumulative confirmed cases to 3,682 since the country recorded its first case earlier this year.

The report also shows a total of 18 deaths, with 1,145 active cases and 2,519 confirmed cases who have fully recovered from the disease.

The Ministry of Health is working tirelessly to curb the spread of the virus as more people come into contact with the virus daily.

Earlier today, the government announced receiving 20,000 new mpox vaccines from the United Arab Emirates to help in the spread of the disease.
