The National Commission for Social Action (NaSCA) with support from the German Development Bank has on Tuesday 14 February 2023 trained its technical staff on Administration, Human Resources, Financial Management, Tender Documents, and Contract Management.
The training is geared towards building the capacity that is core to ensuring all projects are completed within the stipulated period, as 2023 was declared as the year of Rapid Delivery by Commissioner Dr. Sao-Kpato Hannah Isatta Macarthy.
In her address, Commissioner Macarthy encouraged all trainees to be serious with every training session and give it the attention it referring to the commission’s commitment to ensuring the requisite technical experts and logistics are available to ensure rapid delivery strategy.
Coordinator of the Southern Region, Madam Haja Aminata Sheriff spoke on the timeliness of the training, stating that rapid delivery strategy requires logistical support and staff with the technical capacity to deliver.
The Eastern Region Coordinator, Foday Moriba noted the training is satisfactory and appreciable in terms of content and delivery and thank the management for the training.
Program Manager Pro-Poor Growth for Peace Consolidation (GPC) Project, Salifu Mansaray said the training was consciously organized in a way to ensure key staff are further exposed to contemporary human and project management issues.
“We are grateful and optimistic that this will contribute greatly to the rapid delivery strategy,” he said.
