Sierra Leonean-Lebanese singer and entrepreneur, Nasser Ayoub has planned to withdraw his nominations from the National Entertainment Awards (NEA) for failing to inform him officially.

Nasser Ayoub got two NEA nominations last month in the singing field for Male Afro Pop R&B and Artiste of The Year along with other top Sierra Leonean acts.

The singer is planning to withdraw his nominations because the organizers failed to send a letter to officially inform him for the nominations. On his post, Nasser expressed disappointment from the organizers for disrespecting them as he only saw the nomination on social media;

“I will Be Withdrawing from The NEA awards Show, teh tiday letter sef ano rcv, na tru Social media post ah know, thats Not How u Treat Ur Local Superstars, To all Show Organisers, Una Begin Respect we lek aw una di Respect Oda Kontri dem yone” – he wrote.
