The CEO of AYV Media Empire Ambassador Anthony Navo Jnr has showered praises on DJ Neptune for promoting Sierra Leonean songs during his time in the house on Saturday night.
“People asked Why foreign acts? Our dear friend from Nigeria DJ Neptune has perfectly answered the question”
Ambassador Anthony Navo Jnr in his post said he watched the Housemates Salone Party from his home in the UK last night. And was impressed by DJ Neptune and his mix of both Salone and global hit songs.
“Indeed no man/woman is an Island. He showed us that we live in a global village and we have to learn to work with others to build our countries collectively”
He furthered that Housemates is now a global platform on Dstv 399 and so AYV Media Empire and their lead partner including Africell-Sierra Leone have a legal responsibility to provide for audiences both in Sierra Leone and across the world.
“We work with both international and national DJs like when we invited Sierra Leone’s celebrated DJ Mose who performed at the Pool Party. Massive thanks and respect to our national DJs, artists, and entertainers in general”
Amb Navo rendered thanks and appreciation to DJ Neptune from Nigeria for the outstanding performance last night at the Housemates celebrity party.
“We are putting Salone music to the world. One of my best songs for the night was “Mammy Na Power” done by our sister Zainab Sheriff. Sweet song” he said
He adds that they encourage all DJs to continue to play Zainab’s songs and other Salone songs.
” It’s a must to play Salone music on the Housemates show. We support the national music playlist”
“We may all have our differences, but that should not put us apart. Let us join our hands together to build a better entertainment environment in Sierra Leone and Africa at large” he said
