NCD Engages First Time Voters, Women And PWDs

The National Commission for Democracy (NCD) has engaged first-time voters, women and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) ahead of the June 24 general elections at the Makeni City Council Hall in Bombali District.

The engagement was focused on the civic and voter education and violence prevention and how they will be previewed on the happening and things as well as the preparations made by different bodies ahead of the elections in June.

The event was sponsored by international IDEA with funds from the European Union (EU).

The Commission has also launched the citizen’s platform for political tolerance in the southern region on May 12^th in Bo city that seeks to redress political tolerance at all levels in the election.
