The National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) has announced that its ID card application and issuance services at Youyi Building will cease to operate, effective Monday, October 14, 2024.
This decision follows the establishment of fully functional ID card services at the NCRA’s new headquarters located on King Harman Road.
In a statement, the NCRA assured the public that ID card services will still be available at several other locations across the Western Urban District.
These include the NCRA offices on Kennedy Street, Walpole Street, and the new King Harman Road headquarters, as well as the outlet at Lumley Roundabout.
For individuals who have already applied for ID cards at the Youyi Building but have yet to collect them, the NCRA has advised that these cards can now be picked up at the new headquarters on King Harman Road.
The NCRA remains committed to providing uninterrupted civil registration and identity management services to citizens nationwide.
