The National Civil Registration Authority (NCRA) in collaboration with Constrat Systems LTD has issued a notice informing the public that the commencement of the production of Securitised and Multi-purpose Biometric Identity Cards and ID Verification System/Platform earlier scheduled for the 10th January 2023 has been rescheduled for Monday 30th January 2023 in Freetown and other Regional headquarter towns of Bo. Kenema, Makeni, and Port Loko.
For all other District headquarters towns, it will commence on the 15th of February 2023 at the respective NCRA District Offices across the country.
The public is further guaranteed of all information regarding the categories, application, location, processing, and receipt of the ID Cards remain the same.
The notice stated that other Centres that will be designated for similar purposes will be communicated to the public as and when they are available.
They solicit the continued patience and understanding of the public and are assured of their commitment to making CRVS and Identity Management services a success in Sierra Leone.
The NCRA apologize to the public for any inconvenience, their decision may cause.
