The National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) has formally bid farewell to the outgoing Country Representative of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Jeanne Ella Andrianambinina.
The farewell event followed a courtesy visit earlier this week by CRS to introduce its new Country Representative to the NDMA leadership, during which both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration in disaster risk management and humanitarian response across Sierra Leone.
Presenting a plaque and a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the Director General and the Agency, the Director of Partnerships at NDMA, Mr. Soko Kai-Samba, commended Madam Andrianambinina for her dedication, exemplary leadership, and selfless humanitarian service to NDMA and the people of Sierra Leone.
He assured her that her contribution to the country’s humanitarian landscape would remain permanently recorded in the archives of the Agency.

Receiving the plaque and certificate, Andrianambinina described the gesture as “a watershed moment” in her humanitarian journey, adding that she would carry NDMA with her wherever she goes. She reaffirmed CRS’s continued partnership and cooperation with NDMA and assured the Agency that the remaining items earlier earmarked for donation would be delivered in due course.
The event concluded with an exchange of pleasantries, which further signifies the cordial and longstanding relationship between NDMA and Catholic Relief Services.
