Joel Kargbo, popularly known as Jooel, is one of Sierra Leone’s new school rappers undeniably leaving his mark on the Sierra Leonean music landscape with each record he releases, highlighting glorious vocal talents and charismatic presence as he ascends up the ranks.
His breakthrough song, “Chief Bomboli”, was an exciting Afro-Dance Hall hitz and surefire hit that kept many on dancing shoes with total disregard of their home training. Jooel has since blessed us with songs like “Pak Style” in 2020, “Shuuu” and “Deh Deh” in 2021.
On the 19th of March, the popular Rapper’s secret finally leaks as Sarah Kallay reveals the Rapper’s Girlfriend who is presently living in the United Kingdom with Jooel.
Dija Tejan is a Sierra Leonean based in the United Kingdom. She attended the St. Joseph’s Secondary School (Cornwall). She studied at the Manchester College of Arts and Technology in 2006 and presently works at Manchester City Council and The National House Project.
Dija Tejan is from Fourah Bay community and also a fan of Hawa Tombo. She is the official girlfriend of the Sierra Leone new school rapper, Joel Kargbo, popularly known as Jooel. This mini giant is known to come from Fourah Bay community who are known for not taking things lightly when it comes to their relationships.
This announcement was made in a Facebook handle by Sarah Kallay. In her post, it reads:
“I present to you Dija Tejan , the official girlfriend of Artist Jooel. This mini giant is from Fourah Bay, a Conventonian and a supporter of Hawa Tombo (e nor dae joke for ein man), so expect beating if you go too close from now on. 😈

This Sarah Kallay wrote to warn other girls who might want to dare into the lion’s den and what the result will be when you get too close.
