Hadji Dabo, Director General of the National Minerals Agency (NMA), has been recognized for his leadership and transformative reforms in Sierra Leone’s mining sector.
The recognition comes from Green Spot Media Television Network, which awarded Dabo a certificate of merit for his strategic vision and commitment to repositioning the country’s mining industry as a key driver of national development.
Since assuming office, Dabo has implemented a “discipline-first” approach at the NMA, streamlining processes, enforcing compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency. Beyond policy and regulation, he has championed human capital development through student outreach programs, inspiring young Sierra Leoneans to consider careers in science and mining. “The future of our minerals depends on the minds we cultivate today,” Dabo said, highlighting his commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals.
