The Board of Directors of the National Revenue Authority (NRA), led by Chairperson Mr. Kabineh M. Kallon, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Customs Services Department at Freetown International Airport, Lungi, on November 30, 2024.

The visit aimed to assess the state of operations and infrastructure at the facility, with a focus on bolstering transparency and efficiency in revenue collection.

During the visit, the Board reviewed NRA properties and held a brief meeting with Customs staff to discuss operational challenges and opportunities for improvement. Chairperson Kallon reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to streamlining processes, enhancing operational effectiveness, and fostering collaboration within the department.

“This visit underscores the NRA’s dedication to strengthening its presence and effectiveness in Lungi, ensuring that we meet our revenue collection objectives while addressing staff concerns,” Mr. Kallon said.
